1. Introduction
1.1. SMS2Bet services is an online sports betting and gaming company that offers betting and gambling products to the South African market. We have partnered with leading wagering software providers, feed providers, trading providers to offer our players a first-class gaming experience.
2. PAIA and POPIA
2.1. The Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (“PAIA”) grants a requester access to records of a private body, if the record is required for the exercise or protection of any rights. If a public body lodges a request, the public body must be acting in the public interest.
2.2. The Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (“POPIA”) gives effect to the constitutional right to privacy. One of the data processing principles under POPIA is that of data subject participation, which allows for data subjects to access and correct their personal information held by a responsible party. This manual provides for data subject to request this information from the Company.
3. Requests for Information
3.1. Requests in terms of PAIA must be made in accordance with the prescribed procedures, at the prescribed rates provided. The forms and tariff are dealt with in Regulations 6 and 7 promulgated in terms of PAIA.
3.2. Proof of payment of the said prescribed fee must accompany the completed application form.
4. The Guide
4.1. Requesters are referred to the Guide in terms of Section 10 which has been compiled by the South African Human Rights Commission (“SAHRC”) and will be updated and made availableby it until 30 June 2021, whereafter it will be updated and made available by the Information Regulator. The Guide contains information for the purposes of exercising Constitutional Rights and is available in all of the official languages.

7. Schedule of Personal Information Processed by the Company
7.1. Schedule of Personal Information. The personal information processed by the Company in terms of POPIA is set out in Schedule 2.
7.2. Planned and actual transborder flows of personal information. The Company may use hosting or cloud services to store and process personal information that are not located in the RSA. If it does so, it will ensure that the level of protection given to the personal information is at least as good as that provided for under RSA Law, either by means of a binding contract with the service provider, or by using a service provider located in a country with privacy laws of similar or stronger effect.
7.3. Information Security Measures. The Company employs appropriate, reasonable technical and organisational measures to secure the integrity and confidentiality of personal information in its possession or under its control, which include the following: 1.1.1. Identifying reasonably foreseeable internal and external risks to personal and other information in its possession or under its control; 1.1.2. Establishing and maintaining appropriate safeguards against the risks identified; 1.1.3. Regularly verifying that the safeguards are effectively implemented; Page 4 of 12 1.1.4. Ensuring that the safeguards are continually updated in response to new risks or deficiencies in previously implemented safeguards;
